DIRTY DISHES
I have always been fascinated by the way we perceive and interact with food. In our contemporary culture, it seems as though the presentation and aesthetic qualities of a meal have become more important than the actual taste and flavor. My series of photographs of dirty dishes is an homage to the latter. By choosing to capture the remnants of a meal instead of its presentation, I aim to challenge the notion of food as a status symbol and bring the focus back to what truly matters: the experience of enjoying a delicious meal. With this project, I hope to encourage viewers to prioritize taste and nutrition over social media validation, and to embrace the simple pleasure of a satisfying meal.
