MERGING MOMENTS

After spending more than three and a half years with my partner, we finally traveled to Bulgaria together during the summer of 2022 to meet her family for the first time. This journey became the inspiration for my new series of photographs. Through this project, I sought to capture the essence of our trip and the people and places that shaped my partner's upbringing. It's about the moments we spent exploring and connecting, and the memories we created together. The project is an extension of our relationship, as both partners and friends, lovers, and explorers. I chose to use double exposures in the series to visually compare and contrast these vivid moments, highlighting the lasting impressions they made on us. Some experiences were more significant than others, leaving a deeper mark on our hearts and minds. Through these photographs, I aim to communicate this by overlapping them in an interesting and aesthetic manner, creating a captivating and thought-provoking series.
